As played is basically the same as "New" in gPodder (just that not-yet-downloaded episodes are called "new", whereas already downloaded episodes are called "not played"), we just remove the "Played" feature (especially since we now support fine-grained playback status) and use "New" throughout the UI. The fix will land in "tres" shortly.
