             Bug #: 1374
Summary: I/O error - file doesn't exist; occurs after download
file with 'illegal' character in name
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: gPodder
           Version: 2.15
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Application
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]

Environment:
Windows 7 64-bit Ulti. SP1 (US English)
gpodder-2.16-win32

example podcast subscription link:
http://deimos3.apple.com/WebObjects/Core.woa/Feed/harvard.edu-dz.4129664529.04129664531

Episodes download fine but the error seems to occur when it comes time to save
the file with its proper name and that name contains an illegal character.
example:
Episode 1. The Moral Side of Murder / The Case for Cannibalism
The "/" is an illegal character in windows and most applications automatically
replace it with ".","_", or something else. (asking for user preference would
be nice there)

A file with the name "enclosure.mp4.partial" is left behind but when renamed
manually results in a watchable file.
