             Bug #: 1381
Summary: Episodes should be deleted n days after being played.
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: gPodder
           Version: 2.16
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: feature request
          Priority: low
         Component: Application
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]

I think it would be good if, instead of deleting an episode if it is older than
n days and flagged as played, episodes are deleted n days after being played.
This would then give the user a known time in order to flag an episode to be
kept even if they get behind on listening to their podcasts.

For an example use case where the current behaviour is non ideal consider a
user who deletes used episodes after n days. If the user doesn't get around to
listening to an episode until it is > n days old and the user decides they want
to keep that episode then they must flag it to be kept before they close
gpodder the first time after listening, otherwise it will be deleted the next
time gpodder starts.
