It is possible to determine the frontend that is being used by examining the
following variables:
gpodder.ui.fremantle
gpodder.ui.harmattan
gpodder.ui.desktop
This, however, does not indicate what toolkit is being used (gtk or Qt).
A function to determine this would be useful for code that needs to use the
toolkit, e.g., hooks.
