I uninstalled the old version of Gpodder.
I then installed v3.0.0.
I clicked the gpodder shortcut
I was prompted to install python 2.7
I clicked the install button
Python downloaded
Python installed
I clicked the gpodder shortcut
I was prompted to install python 2.7
I clicked the install button
Python downloaded again
I was asked to install/repair/remove python 2.7
I opted to repair.
Repeat...
