When gPodder is running it is not possible to attach the N9 as USB mass storage
device. This is likely because gPodder's CWD is on /home/user/MyDocs.
Most likely there exists a hook from qt/harmattan that signals when processes
should release resources on the vfat file system: the harmattan music player
will show "Can't play music while you're connected to your computer" when the
phone is attached as mass storage device.
Alternately, gPodder could just maintain a different CWD while idle - this
would allow USB mass storage mode without a lot of code changes.
