--- Comment #1 from Thomas Perl <[email protected]> 2012-06-03 09:27:14 BST --- (In reply to comment #0) > when I change the media player in the preferences comes the error up,"please > check the media player settings in the preferences dialog. > I'm using gpodder 2.2 with windows 7. To which value did you change the media player settings? Does the media player open op when you copy the command value from gPodder into the "Run.." dialog (shortcut: Win+R)? Which media player do you want to use for playing back podcasts? As seen on the user manual (http://wiki.gpodder.org/wiki/User_Manual), if you would like to use e.g. VLC and it's installed in C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\, you have to use a command like the following (the --playlist-enqueue switch makes sure that you can append files to the VLC playlist, leave it out to start playing the file right away): "C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" --playlist-enqueue --started-from-file -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.gpodder.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes. _______________________________________________ gPodder-Bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/gpodder-bugs
