My subscription list, including paused subscriptions,is quite long. I
sometimes forget that I haven't seen a new episode in months for a particular
feed, and the feature request would prompt me to investigate why.
A recent example: Full Circle Magazine podcast's last episode was Jan 2012, and
while they haven't started a new feed, when I realized I hadn't seen anything
new in some 5 months, I did visit their web site. An auto-notification would
fix my memory lapse.
