episode.trimmed_title corrupts the episode title if the title has ':' or '-' in
it. for example, an episode title like 'foo bar 2: the end' is trimmed down to
'2: the end' which is wrong.
since i like to have the titles as they are, i patched my copy to make the
trimming configurable. i left the default to trim as it is the current default.
