Hello all, About rockbox, I don't know about the interface on the iPod nano. I recently updated to the latest iPod video version of rockbox, and noticed that the interface is more responsive. However, the downsides of rockbox remain: battery life is limited on iPods (I get about 6 hours max), browsing the database is somewhat cumbersome. However, I really like the positive sides: Ogg support, fully customizable menus and layout, moving files back and forth is quick, and I can play Doom :-)).
In my opinion, iPod + rockbox + gpodder work very nicely together.
