I've looked at this issue, and after a short debugging session, I realized that the feed you mentioned has "https://"; URLs for its episodes, and gPodder will automatically reject all URL schemes it doesn't know about. Simply adding "https://"; as a known scheme (as our download libraries can already handle these) should make gPodder and your feed happy again.
