But gPodder already allows you to make a separate sub-directory for each 
podcast channel, so why not use that to filter video from audio? Another 
solution that comes to mind would be to have something like:

select podcast -> right-click on mouse -> menu comes up, and one of the options 
is 'sync to custom folder...' -> select folder to sync -> sync.

I don't know how difficult it would be to program something like that.
