माझी ही एक मैत्रीण होती, खुप शांत अन अल्लड स्वभावाची, कधीतरी यायची लहर तेव्हाच ती, लाजून गालातल्या गालात हसायची..
मधाच्या पोकळीतून बोल ऐकू यावे, असं ती सुमधूर आवाजात बोलायची, बोलता बोलता मग का कुणास ठाऊक, ती अचानक गप्प होऊन जायची.. बागेतली फुले तीला आवडायच्याआधी, ती त्या फुलांना आवडायची, फुलेही तीची सवड बघून तिच्यासोबत, आनंदाने लाडावून बागडायची… तिच्यासोबत चालता चालता, वाटही कमी पडत असे, तिच्या सहप्रवासात नेहमीच, वाट पावलांनाच संपताना दिसे… अशी काहीशी ती मला खुप आवडायची, रोज रोज मला दिवसाच्या स्वप्नातही दिसायची, तिला विचारण्याची हिम्मत माझ्यात नव्हती, पण तरीही माझ्या मनास तिचीच आस असायची.. एकदा असचं तळ्याकाठी बसून, तिचं प्रतिबिंब तळ्यात पाहत होतो, विस्कटू नये म्हणून तरंगाना, शांत रहा म्हणून सांगत होतो… तेवढ्यात तिने मला विचारलं, आज काय झालं आहे तूला? मी उत्तरलो माहित नाही पण मला काहितरी सांगायचे आहे तूला.. तुझी दृष्टी होऊन मला, तुझं व्हायचं आहे, तेवढ्यात ती उत्तरली, मला दृष्टी नसेल तरी चालेल, पण तुला एकदा माझ्या मिठीत, माझ्या ह्या आंधळ्या डोळ्यानी पहायचं आहे..
