Here are screen shots showing the result of the preceding patches.

root_inherited.gif show the page reached by the "config" command with no option. Here, I scrolled down to a setting that is inherited from net1.nvo, to show the 'inherited' note that appears for settings not set directly in local scope.

smbios_readonly.gif shows the page reached by "config smbios" or by navigating there from the root page. The "read only" alert appears because I (deliberately) tried to edit one of the read-only smbios settings.

nvo_parent.gif shows the page reached by "config net1.nvo" or by navigating there in the hierarchy browser. The instructions at the bottom specify that "Enter" will take one to the parent page. The highlighted options are set at this level of the hierarchy. Non-highlighted values contain defaults. (At higher levels, the gpxe default is to inherit any value set in a child.) The intent of this highlighting -- and the 'inherited' message mentioned above -- is to make gPXE's name space semantics a bit less confusing.
