Update: Created a fresh VM of WSS2k8 still failed to communicate to gPXE clients Attached physical pc to network and it to failed to connect.

It does sound like a VMware network configuration issue on the WSS2k8 box. I would strongly recommend trying to debug connectivity between the WSS2k8 VM and an external physical box with an OS, since that's a much easier diagnostic environment than gPXE. Michael
