It's important to understand that not everyone is running the latest versions of tools. Etherboot.org, for example, is currently running: git 1.5.6.6. We will be updating soon when we update or Fedora distribution, but for now, that is what some of us use. gPXE is buildable using toolchains back to gcc-3.4 (if not earlier). Though new tools often offer conveniences and features that older tools do not, let us try where possible to support older toolsets, and to remember that our development environment is not universal. / Marty / _______________________________________________ gPXE mailing list [email protected] http://etherboot.org/mailman/listinfo/gpxe
