HSQL support

Hi Christophe and David,

Updated GRFT-16 and attached patch for HSQL support.
Could you review and apply it if you have no problem?
I think the impact to existing code is minimum. But,
for J2, I think the version needs to be upgraded from
1.7.1 if applying the patch.
