Hi, I am testing the nvidia-driver-560, alas it looks like although this driver seems to be shipping with both 64 and 32 bits libraries (managed to build and run vkcube both 64 and 32 bits), any Proton/Wine game doesn't run, only native (i.e. DotA2 does run, but not Warframe to cite a couple of examples).
I have tried on a fresh new Ubuntu 24.04 setup and the games seem to start but then there isn't much in the Proton/Wine logs, the main wine process seems just 'stuck'. Rolling back to 555 works a charm, so I'm wondering if the install/deploy process is somehow missing some (hopefully) simple 'step'. This was tested on a brand new Ubuntu 24.04.1 install, with Steam off the apt repo, on a 4090. Other people in the reddit Linux_gaming community have confirmed the same issues, with more details here: https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/1f5j5t7/nvidia_drivers_560_dont_run_protonwine_games/ . I hope this can be of help. Thanks!
