Hello, I just put in 2 votes for issue 20819, because I would like the polynomial regression curve added to the chart module of OOo, or to Calc itself.
I need polynomial regression curves to determine calibration curves for gas flow meters used in the laboratory at work. These meters are known to have second order polynomial calibration curves (y = a + b·x + c·x²). The parameters a, b, and c from these calibration curves have to be determined regularly from third party calibration measurements. @Laurent and Ingrid: I don't understand what you mean by "exponential terms". If you can explain, I will ask around at work if there is a need for them. What is the planned time-frame for the file format change? Is it already part of the draft ODF 1.2 specification?
