Yes you can use absolute times with the 'from' and 'until' parameters.
It accepts various formats but the one I like to use is "HH:MM
MM/DD/YYYY". URL encoded right now would be "09%3A55%2006/10/2009" (%3A
being ':' and %20 being a space). Another easy way to do it is to click
the Calendar icon in the Graphite Composer window that says 'Select A
Date Range' when you mouse over it. After you select the date range you
can copy the image's URL tweak it to your needs.
