I had this problem too. The solution that has helped me out is to ammend this
line in glyph.py;
minXStep = float( self.params.get('minXStep',1.0) )
I adjusted the value to 20 and this filled in any gaps in the graph;
minXStep = float( self.params.get('minXStep',20.0) )
It's a fudge, but it worked for me.
