New question #144462 on Graphite:
https://answers.launchpad.net/graphite/+question/144462

We have four centos servers each with its own SAN mount for our graphite
cluster. The setup runs fine but we noticed that the cache size reported on
each drops into negative numbers. It looks to be just a nuisance as we have
not noticed any issues.

An example is the metric carbon.agents.servername.cache.size dropping to -10K.
If we bounce graphite the cache size will begin at zero and maintain a positive
number for a short time(under a day) but still eventually drop below zero.

carbon.conf entries:
MAX_CACHE_SIZE = 10000000
MAX_UPDATES_PER_SECOND = 2000
MAX_CREATES_PER_MINUTE = 1000

I am curious if anyone else has seen this, did it cause any issues, and also
what they did to resolve the issue?
