chrismd proposed the following answer: You probably don't need to do all that, remember updating storage- schemas.conf won't change the way the wsp files are currently configured. You'll need to either delete them so they get recreated with the new storage configuration or resize them manually using whisper- resize.py. In any case, verify that the "points" number from whisper- info.py reflects the number of minutes of data you wish to store.
