I noticed while tailing the log files that if a metric doesn't exist the storage-schema.conf file is read on the fly to check for matching schema patterns which is great because you can add a new schema or modify one and the new metrics will get this settings. my question is if I have an existing schema with a retention of 60:259200 and want to append say 300:103680 to this schema's retentions do I need to restart carbon or do anything else for that matter, for existing metrics to start recording to the lesser resolution storage?
