Hello, Here is a feature suggestion for Graphite. Sometimes the client sends values, but sometimes nothing is sent. It would be good to have a default value when nothing is sent, instead of "no data". Here is an example: let's say I send the value 1 when my job starts, and 0 when it stops. By using "keepLastValue", I can monitor in real time when my job is running and when it stopped. Now, if my job failed before sending the value 0, Graphite will keep displaying the value 1 even if the job is not running anymore! The defaultValueifNoData function I'm suggesting ccan fix this.
