Some things to try:
1.) Change xFilesFactor: 0.5 to 0.0 (use whisper-resize.py --xFilesFactor=0.0
RETENTION_RATE1 [RETENTION_RATE2...] )
2.) Verify that your system is actually getting the data every 5 seconds. Set
LOG_UPDATES in carbon.conf to True and check the logs to ensure the metrics are
being received and parsed properly.
