Whisper DB files (the underlying storage) are fixed in size. In order to
achieve this the data that is to be stored needs to be properly described from
the start.
Each and every Whisper DB file can and will contain only 1 sensor input (with
multiple resolutions if so defined). Therefore it is not possible to add a new
column to a whisper DB, you have to just create a new DB.
