Question #215146 on Graphite changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/graphite/+question/215146
Abe Stanway posted a new comment: If you don't have a consumer on the other side of relay, the queue will grow until the relay either 1. stops adding datapoints to the queue, or 2. stops accepting new datapoints altogether. Either way, you don't get your data. The consumer can effectively break the producer, which is a questionable architecture decision. If you use relay, make sure your consumers are always up. -- You received this question notification because you are a member of graphite-dev, which is an answer contact for Graphite. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~graphite-dev Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~graphite-dev More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
