For others looking for an answer to this, it appears the stable branch
of graphite-web used in the graphite installation instructions (at least
as of today 2014-05-08) does have this issue, but it's been
fixed/changed in master. I haven't tried deploying the master branch. If
you just want to fix this issue to get graphlot working with graphite-
web 0.9.x, here's one workaround:
Edit `graphite/render/datalib.py` under the webapp directory, and
replace
now = requestContext['now']
with:
try:
now = requestContext['now']
except:
from django.utils.timezone import now as _now
now = _now()
