New question #252327 on Graphite:
https://answers.launchpad.net/graphite/+question/252327

Personally I find that Launchpad Answers (Q&A) is the sole redeeming feature of
the entire Launchpad service. That said, it's the sole remaining artifact of
Graphite's existence on Launchpad. And frankly, while I appreciate that the
user experience of Answers results in a much higher signal-to-noise ratio than
a mailing list, the administrative aspects of the feature, like the rest of
Launchpad, are still pretty awful.

I'd like to get feedback on how you feel about Answers compared to other
community support mechanisms. I am pretty strongly (although perhaps not
*staunchly*) against moving our official support channel to a mailing list(1).
Unfortunately, our code hosting provider, GitHub, does not offer any comparable
features.

Have you encountered any 3rd party support services that would fill the niche?
Basically what I like about Answers is the strict format for posting questions
and updating the question status (e.g. open, answered, information requested,
expired, etc), the ability to auto-expire unanswered questions, and the way it
couples this functionality with a pseudo mailing list archive format
(https://lists.launchpad.net/graphite-dev/).
