Question #255657 on Graphite changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/graphite/+question/255657
Denis Zhdanov posted a new comment: No, it's not round-robin, it's consistent hashing - if you are using RELAY_METHOD = consistent-hashing, of course. It uses hash of metric name to pick up some carbon-cache as destination, so, for many metric its like random, but some specific metric will hit specific carbon-cache every time. -- You received this question notification because you are a member of graphite-dev, which is an answer contact for Graphite. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~graphite-dev Post to : graphite-dev@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~graphite-dev More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
