If I have a Graphite Setup that is listening to Operational Data and crashes how will it recover? The system that is pushing Operation Data to graphite is still running. Now I will loose this data, so when I restart Graphite services, how can I tell it to collect it from the time it last had collected. There are three main methods for sending data to Graphite: Plaintext, Pickle, and AMQP. Do I need to consider any specific transfer method for the above requirement? If we are using jmxtrans/ Engine Mode (.json file) as the source of data, then after we restart the graphite service it does not automatically connect to the JMX Service and continue collecting the data.
