Mike confirmed that the question is solved:
Exclude the datapoint only.
Yeah - NaN is the behavior I see. Was searching for a way to give it an
alternative value perhaps - e.g. alternativeWhenAboveValue( metric,
threshold, alternative ). Perhaps not to be. Thanks for the help.
