Thanks Michael. I downloaded and installed 8.4.13, that is not the last 8.4 
release (wich is 8.4.17), but it's suggested in the Wiki; I went "safe mode" ;-)

There have been problems reported using 8.5 on Windows and Mac. These 
are probably solvable, but I don't think they've been solved. 
Depending on how the wxPython GUI moves along, they might not be 
solved. I'd stick with 8.4 for now.
