Hi,

2009/2/17 Mohammed Rashad <[email protected]>:
i am planning of building a FOX GUI using c++ for GRASS, FOX is better than wxPython and also cross platform. it also had backward compatilblity. i
think it will be a sucess..

Well, good luck. I don't know FOX toolkit enough to claim that "it's
better then..." ;-)

I have no write acess to any grass repository. I dont need it know, but
during my work of new GUI i need it.
How i will place the code on GRASS svn. ??

Do I have to upload my code to some other webpage and inform other
developers , so that i can get support and work in the community.
Can i add my codes to GRASS after testing.???

Put your code to

grass-addons/gui/

I might point out that developing and maintaining the GUI for GRASS is a pretty big task. Martin calculated a while back that we've got over 40,000 lines of code in the wxPython GUI.

My perspective is that what would help the most with a GRASS interface would to have additional coders on the GUI team rather than yet another competing GUI.
