Is this available to look at anywhere as finished help file? Or do I
need to compile GRASS to see it?

I was about to ask you to read it to make sure I got it right and
correct any oversights or mistakes
I might have made and backport it to relbr64.
Michael and anybody else who is using GUI regularly, please review it
too,
to minimize the need for backporting little fixes. Grammar may need a
review too,

are you planning to backport this patch and r39184 backport to trunk
and relbr64? The documentation should consistent in all active
branches at this point.
