that's nothing. freeMem() is hardcoded to that on Windows.
in r41535 I've added a new debug message to devbr6.5 to show the values
tested in that assert(). So we'll see what tomorrow's nightly build says
about it.
On linux for elevation....@spearfish I get:

as expected.
