I am using the GRASS6.4 on Ubuntu 10.04, installed from source (6.4.x
release branch version) without problems. However, with the latest few
revisions, including revision 42617, I can install GRASS, open the first
screen to select location and mapset, but than the GUI doesn't open and
I am getting the following error message on the command line:

This might be related to #1059 wxGUI: No menu option for r.mapcalc, but
I am not sure.
