as for the "raw" level 1B and level 2 stuff which may come by scan line(?) I seem to recall that was a motivation for adding/ extending the thin plate spine functionality in gdalwarp? but nicer ways of dealing + processing that could be the intention of the module..? anyone using that low level data?
