I know where the zone 0 comes from (for this map was never set in vector/$MAP/head), but the "x,y" confuses me a little. what does your piemonte_utm32_wgs84/PERMANENT/PROJ_INFO say on the top 'name:' line? it should be UTM. If not, how did you create that location? Was it created as x,y then changed to UTM by some manual method?
