Hello,
for producing printproof maps (via ps.map in bash scripts) I would find
useful to have the possibility, beside the -s flag, to specify the map
name for the placeholder raster map of v.colors (placeholder=).
Current workaround I'm using is to parse v.colors stderr and grab the
vcolors_* map name.
