I'm not sure how much this is related however, for GRASS 7 GUI I've
committed (r57549). It changes dialogs with messages
{{{
"No GRASS location found in '%s'."
"Path '%s' doesn't exist."
}}}
to a message in the main window. It is behaves better when starting GRASS
for the first time and with deleted location.
I'm not sure how to correctly implemented but I like how it behaves to the
user.
