I noticed that. There are a bunch of nfs/nfs4 perf events; **but**, they
require root privileges when running perf. I'm trying to get advice
(elsewhere) on how to properly use them without running GRASS as root. As
soon as I am able to examine the NFS behaviour, I'll post the results. I'm
also pulling the code so I can speak with less ignorance. :)
