What do you think if we abandon the support for: - python 2.4 (last release: December 19, 2008), - python 2.5 (last release: May 26, 2011), and may be: - python 2.6 (last release: October 29, 2013), About this version the python website [0] says: "With the 2.6.9 release, and five years after its first release, the Python 2.6 series is now officially retired. All official maintenance for Python 2.6, including security patches, has ended.". Perhaps we should/could drop the support for this release too. I would like to start to support python3, and if we have to support also the release 2.4 and 2.5 it is more difficult. So are you agree to change the requirements for grass70 from Python >= 2.4 to Python = 2.7 or Python >= 2.6? Best regards.
