there was a problem with "svn up” the trunk was not fully upgraded, because svn found the r.stream.* add ons inside the grass_trunk src directory their presence was generating an svn conflict and aborting the upgrade. I manually removed the add ons from trunk and did a complete svn up. Now the build goes ahead without errors.
