As we would like to get out 7.0.3 next week, it would be great if those
more experienced than me with the vector lib could help in solving the
blocker bug 2814 [1].
I found the change that causes the segfault, but I don't know this part
of the code well enough to quickly see where the issue could be in that
change and I am very busy with other stuff at work, so if someone could
at least give me some pointers as to where (and how) to look, this would
be great.
