What would be the point in skipping the one version? Or why stable and
unstable versions? How many times we did that? Last time we did that was
10 years back. Is it user-friendly? I don't think so.

I don't have a strong opinion either way, as I don't think that this
scheme is so strong in people's heads that they would be surprised by a
7.1, it hasn't really been followed much in GRASS' history.
