I have tried this on Linux:

grass73 ~/grassdata/nc_spm_08_grass7/user1/
g.copy vector=roadsmajor,roads_copy
db.droptable -f table=roads_copy
}}}
... works ok on Linux.
Can another user with MS-Windows please test (also with 7.04)?
