Patch updated to handle, now hopefully, all cases -- whether the *input*
step in the wavelength slots is less, equal or greater than the
*hardcoded* step `2.5` for the interpolation function.
@martinl I'd like to add `g.message`s, printed only per the user's
request. However, this being just a helper script, I would only like to
make it more readable and informative.
