In the newest 7.2.2 binaries I've made, i.gui.iclass now only crashes the
GUI. So I can at least see some kind of error in the terminal. Here it is:
/Applications/GRASS-7.2.2.app/Contents/Resources/bin/pythonw: line 3:
35164 Segmentation fault: 11
/Applications/GRASS-7.2.2.app/Contents/Resources/python.app/Contents/MacOS/python

I am skeptical of the last one because GRASS here is using Python 2.7.14
